Yet another gorgeous winter day on Table Mountain enjoyed by a group of fit mountaineers.
Ascent to the top was via Diagonal Route which takes a diagonal line across three Buttresses (Porcupine, Jubilee and Barrier) and three Ravines. The group stopped for tea at the top of Barrier Ravine, then explored the Valken Labyrinth and enjoyed lovely views at the top of Valken Buttress. This was followed by a circular hike: from the Valley of the Red Gods, through Valley of Isolation, Echo Valley and then to the Back Table.
Descent was via Kasteels Poort.
