The cloud kept the 12 of us cool for the ascent up Constantia Corner. Once on Klaassens lower ledge we were in the shade and we stopped for a leisurely tea break. The scramble up the side of Klaassenskop provided a challenge for some but after a short while we were absorbed in exploring the rock passages at the top.
After a brunch-break, whilst enjoying the views into Orange Kloof and beyond, we descended via Constantia Corner, arriving back at the cars soon after 1pm.
