On 26 July 2018, Brian Lambourne lead a party of 19 on the sensational Right Face Arrow Traverse. The route was first opened by G.F. Travers-Jackson and H.W. Wright on 5 November 1899.
The party ascended via Union Ravine and Yellowstone Gully to reach the start of the traverse, which contains some unique cave passages. These proved to be a tight squeeze for some members, who opted to bypass one of the passages. The party completed the traverse safely and descended via India Venster.
