One is always rewarded with a fine view from the top of Grootkop and today was no exception. We enjoyed our lunch at the beacon with a gentle breeze to cool us down. Our ascent was via Corridor Ravine and then up the ‘B’ frontal route through the north facing rock band. Our descent route took us down the easy route to join up with the Apostles Spine path and then down Corridor Ravine, now with the sea views in front of us. After traversing back to Kasteels Poort the 17 of us arrived back at the cars at about 2:30pm.
