Tricky weather made for dramatic light on Milner Peak, on our hike over 23 and 24 October 2021.
After a late start waiting for the rain to clear, our group of 12 had a mostly dry walk up to camp.
The night was cold and clear, and the clouds billowing up from Milner Kloof cleared just as we reached the edge of the amphitheater.
