The party went up Platteklip Gorge as far as the Contour path where
they turned left and after about 50 metres came to a huge block which
marked the beginning of the route.
After traversing a recent rockfall with care the party entered the
ravine just above a clump of Rooi Else tress and then proceeded to the
Silverstream Ledge for tea.
Silverstream and then Ledges were then traversed to the end where a rope
was used .
Carrel’s Ledge was then located with the party exiting a little below
Maclear”s Beacon.
After lunch at Maclear’s the party descended by Cable Way.
