Outlook Ridge was the usual descent route used by climbers for routes ending at the summit and is graded C+
The party of 10 met at 8am below the Shark Spotters Hut on Elsies Peak and followed the path to the right hand corner of a protruding buttress. After a short scramble, a traverse to the left and right, a roped pitch, followed by an exposed traverse, a wormhole, a further roped pitch ,and a scramble the party reached the summit..
A strong wind made for cold conditions and difficult communication.
Thanks to Stefan for my belay, and making sure the party were safely tied on, to Jacques for acting as the relay station, to Tara and Heleen for the food and to the rest of the party for remaining cheerful in the cold and windy conditions.
