Recently, a few intrepid members attended a meet in the remote northern Cederberg. The days were spent exploring the remote area between Crevasse Peak and Skerpioensberg. On some maps this chaotic peak is named Agterbanglyn-se-berg. This peak is not short of interest with a full day of rock scrambling, discovery of a rock arch, avoiding deep rock crevasses, discovery of a few Clanwilliam Cedar seedlings and an unsuccessful search for the true summit of the peak which consists of numerous huge rock outcrops. Another wonderful meet in our beautiful mountains.
