Four hikers set off at 08:00 from the Suikerbossie access point in fair but windy conditions. There was much evidence of the previous day’s rain, especially at the staples at the base of the ravine, which were negotiated with due caution.
Some disa ferruginea were in flower along the route, plus plenty of time to take in the superb 360 degree views. After a leisurely refreshment stop at the summit of Judas Peak we commenced the descent, returning to the start by 13:00.
Pippa Dowding took the pictures.
