The party of 11 met outside Ryterplaats at 7.30 and followed the path to Llandudno Buttress. (According to Tony Lourens in Table Mountain Classics it is not as loose as Llandudno Ravine. The opposite proved to be the case which shows that a lot has changed since the book was written in 1998).
Nevertheless the party easily completed the “B”scramble before rejoining the path and continuing to the Yellow Wood Traverse and a “B”scramble to the summit of Groot Kop with some optional caving on route.
After lunch the party descended to the starting point via LLandudno Ravine being back at the cars at 3.15.
Thanks to Penny and Helen for their navigat.
