Our party of 15 ascended Diagonal and had tea just below the top while still in the shade. We then proceeded to the Upper Disa stream path and peeled off onto the slope of Junction Peak overlooking Hely Hutchinson reservoir.
After enjoying many rock obstacles of varying challenges we eventually reached the summit of Junction Peak and enjoyed the surrounding views. It was rather warm for lunch at the peak, so we dropped down to Junction Cave for an airconditioned lunch venue!
We were back at the cars at 2:45pm after descending via Kasteels Poort.
