A group of nine started at Theresa Avenue, hiked along the pipe track and ascended Three Firs on Saturday morning, September 24. A beautiful and direct route up Table Mountain, offering impressive views into Slangolie Ravine. The weather was perfect: no wind at all, lower temperatures during the ascent and plein sunlight on top of the mountain.
We spent some time exploring Tranquility Cracks, and enjoyed the panorama from one of the magnificent lunch break spots just outside the Cracks, before descending via Corridor Ravine again.
Thank you everyone for the great day out! Particular thanks to Alex Le Roux, for the support around the Tranquility Cracks, including the excursion to the top of Slangolie Buttress.
