13 of us kicked off the new year with a super sociable hike in perfect hiking conditions. We ascended Llandudno Buttress B route and then made our way onto the ridge overlooking Hout Bay. Tea was enjoyed at the high point on the ridge.
The far end of this ridge overlooks Orange Kloof, near to Myburgh’s Kloof, from where we connected with an adjacent ridge leading back towards Judas Peak.
It was too early for lunch, so after admiring the panoramic views, we began our descent down Llandudno Ravine. An overhang near the end of the long traverse after exiting the ravine provided an ideal lunch spot.
We were back at the cars by 1pm.
