A group of 16 started from Theresa Avenue at 7am. It started drizzling on the way up the riverbed and we were happy to take a break in the overhang cave, watching the rain, which then luckily stopped.
From there we smoothly made our way further up, and stopped for another break on top of the Cups & Saucers section, this time enjoying the beautiful views thanks to hovering clouds in bright sky.
Participants enjoyed the playground of scrambles on the way up to the top which was done in a flash. From there we followed the faint path down to Kasteelspoort where four of us decided to head-off via the car. The rest of the party continued to Valken Labyrinth, taking the Diagonal route as way down. We arrived at the cars at 12:30pm.
