A group of 9 Club members enjoyed perfect Autumn weather exploring parts of the Back Table and of Orange Kloof, ambling for 9 hours, covering 17,2 Km – not a typical Tuesday meet!
The route included the ascent via Spilhaus Ravine, then past Cecilia Waterfall, followed by the steepish Cecilia Ridge, Tea break on the shores of Woodhead Dam, Disa Gorge variations, lunch at Nursery Valley and a split into 2 groups for the descent – via Nursery Ravine for those pressed for time and the planned Spilhaus Ravine for the true Amblers.
Led by Teresa Raposo with the help of Ezan Wilson for the split group descent
