If you have a weekend to spare and want to spend some time in nature, this property makes for a delightful breakaway.
You can choose to simply camp and lounge around on the vlakte 250 metres up if you’re really feeling lazy. There are some shade rocks and dip pools to be found and the path has been cleared.
We chose to explore further and visited the rock art at a deepish overhang which you can easily sleep under.
We found a camp in a hidden valley with a beautiful shower pool.
The next morning we visited Rocklands peak, which afforded 360 degree views including Table Mountain, Kouebokkeveld Tafelberg and Cederberg Tafelberg.
On the way out we found a bonus pool on the vlakte.
