14 of us enjoyed the fine views along this route in cold conditions. The forecast had indicated low cloud but we were below the mid cloud layer all day. We reached the summit in time for tea at 10am and were back at the cars by 1pm without stopping for lunch – we had had plenty of time to socialise and catch up on news!
