Spring has sprung!
Whereas our last visit (25 June) required us to be in calf-depth water in most of the kloof, this time we were back to the normal dry route. This was particularly evident at the ‘ledge’ – see comparative photos.
The main change, though, were the abundantly flowering plants along the Ring Road, and several members were particularly interested in the variety on offer.
Other than that, it was par for the course in Hell’s Gate and the Basin for the 9 members, of whom more than half were newbies to the Club.
