We had challenging wind conditions to contend with – one of the strongest winds I have experienced on Table Mountain – during our meet on 17 Nov. The plan was to continue along the ridge from the top of Llundudno Buttress but even though we skirted the side of the ridge we could not escape the strong gusts of wind. We nevertheless had an exciting day and by afternoon the wind had dropped considerably.
