The party of 9 met at 8am on Mountain Road Elsies Peak just below the Shark Spotters Hut.
A 30 minute walk took us to the beginning of Outlook Ridge which is graded C+and is the descent route that climbers used after climbing on the crag.
After an exposed scramble and traverse left and back right the party roped up for a 30 meter pitch.
This was followed by another exposed traverse and a contorted move through a cave before again roping up for a short but very exposed pitch.
An exposed traverse to the right was followed by a series of scrambles to the summit.
The party was back at the cars at 1.30pm.
Thanks to Pierre Bill for belaying and to Jenny Meek for assisting some of the party at a difficult point on the 30 meter pitch.
