The party of 11 met at 7.15 am at the Shark Spotters Hut on Elsie’s Peak determined to complete the C+ climb before the wind speed increased.
They then followed the path to Outlook Ridge where everyone put on climbing harnesses.
After some exposed scrambling a rope was used for a 25 meter vertical section.
An exposed traverse followed and then a worm hole after which the party again roped up for a few meters before scrambling to the summit.
Everyone was back at the cars by 12.30
Thanks to Brian Watts and Andre Dalais for the belaying.
