The party of 16 left Kirstenbosch at 8am and hiked up to the contour path and turned right towards Nursery Ravine.
A few hundred meters past Nursery Ravine there is a dry watercourse which was climbed for a short distance before exiting it and climbing Nursery Buttress.
This involves numerous B grade pitches including a delightful 10 meter pitch.
Tea was had in some caves at the top and everyone was back at the cars by 12.30
